Although I’m a Surrey wedding photographer. I do often get to travel and this time Andy and Laura reached out. They asked if I’d like to photograph their wedding in Scotland!

Without any hesitation, I jumped at the opportunity. Scotland is one of those places that no matter what the weather it looks edgy and a bit filmic. This whole vibe always gets my creative juices flowing.

Their wedding was based at the equally edgy and cool Oxenfood Castle. With armor laden walls dating back to the 16th century. It makes for one of the coolest venues in the area surrounding Edinburgh.

I have to give a quick shout out to two of Andy and Laura’s guests Laura and Caroline whose wedding I photographed a good few years ago! It was lovely to see you guys again and I cant wait to see you at the next wedding!

Other notable guests included two alpacas (don’t ask me their names) I’ve seen this become a strange trend at weddings over the past year – I say strange because no-one ever expects them but in reality, they always make for good photos and they make even the grumpiest uncle at the wedding always crack a smile!

As always I’d love to thank Andy and Laura for having me at their wonderful wedding, I can’t wait to see what the years have in store for you guys so make sure you stay in touch!
