Firstly, I’ll start off by saying I’ve REALLY missed weddings…
I’ve spent the past few months revamping the whole Will Stedman Photography website (Check out my new updated portfolio page) , investing in new equipment, doing far too many virtual quizzes and finding that daytime drinking is the new norm… Is it right?! Then a chance at wedding photography in Horsham came my way…

So I jumped at the chance of shooting Bee and Toby’s big day!

The Wedding Day

The wedding day started in Horsham at Bee’s family home. We had a lovely chilled morning full of all things bridal prep. There was even a flower delivery from Fleurs Florist, Horsham. It’s safe to say that Bee’s bouquet was one of the most beautiful and HUGEST bouquet I’ve ever seen. Good job Fleurs Florist! We then ate some pizza and headed off to the church.

The Ceremony

The ceremony was at St Mary’s Church Horsham. The church where I know Bee’s family have spent a lot of time and I could see why. It was a beautiful church with mesmerising stain glass windows which made me love wedding photography in Horsham. The ceremony was really beautiful with lots of really heartfelt moments. Bee and Toby were surrounded by love from their family and friends hidden behind masks. Unfortunately, there were no hymns due to COVID. Which was a bit strange and missed by everyone, but this didn’t take away from the magical moments as Bee and Toby exchanged vows.

The Reception

Then onto the reception, which was held at the beautiful Wintershall Estate which is very local to me and has some beautiful grounds. Bee and Toby decided on a COVID safe socially distanced picnic to celebrate their big day out in the open, thankfully the weather was nice! The coolest part was when Bee and Toby walked into their wedding reception accompanied by 2 donkeys’ which was a new, but cool one for me. There was then a beautiful blessing witnessed by all of their guests which was very heartfelt and a really lovely moment.
For the rest of the afternoon and evening, it was a very relaxed affair with lots of laughter. We finished off the night with some speeches and then Bee and Toby made their escape as Mr and Mrs Laker through a tunnel of sparklers. Always a favourite of mine!

All in all, I would love to thank both Bee and Toby’s families for welcoming me as their photographer for the big day, it was a truly lovely day which was made even better for me as I was back behind the camera being able to celebrate amazing people getting married. Congratulations Mr an Mrs Laker and I hope you love the photos!
