GUILDFORD WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY – CARLO AND JO
Carlo got in touch with me only a few weeks before his wedding. We chatted via Skype as Carlo lives over in California, about an hour south from San Francisco. Jo lives here in the UK and the couple have been in a long distance relationship since… wait for it… the early 2000s!!!! WOW!
They initially met in an online forum for American football fans and instantly connected over their Filipino background. Incredible story I must say! With many trips back and forth and lots of long distance phone calls, their love has blossomed to bring us all to their beautiful wedding day.
Their wedding was located at Hunts Farm in Guildford. Nice and local for me! It’s a gorgeous venue with a lovely garden and stunning area for the wedding ceremony. Jo and Carlo chose an amazing tent/tipi/marquee that made for a lovely reception venue! They had also put lots of time and effort into all the little details of their wedding! So thoughtful.
One of my favourite moments during the day was when Jo sang. She has the most incredible voice and although she took some persuading to go for it, once she stood up, she absolutely smashed it! Secondly, when Carlo welled up during his vows, it certainly made for one very touching moment!
I’d love to thank Carlo and Jo for having us along for the ride! We had an awesome time and loved every minute made all the better by all your lovely friends and family who made us feel truly welcome! Thank you!
