MERSEA ISLAND VINEYARD ESSEX WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY – ABBEY AND BILLY
From the moment I first spoke to Abbey and Billy I knew we were going to get along like a house on fire. With their super fun and laid back attitude I knew this was a wedding I was going to love to be a part of!
Abbey and Billy’s wedding was held at Mersea Island Vineyard. It’s a beautiful location with lovely scenery and stunning elements that make the venue just that little bit more special. Abbey and Billy had also put a heck of a lot of time and effort into all the details and I understand a lot of the decorations were actually hand-made! Good effort guys!
The ceremony itself was stunning. Abbey and Billy exchanged their personalised vows under a beautiful rose arch whist being looked upon by their adoring friends and family. It was a truly beautiful setting and part of the day.
After their ceremony they all went in for a meal which was basically Nandos. Pretty unique I must say. The speeches soon followed and went down really well with lots of laughter and even a few tears.
We had great fun in the evening with an explosive first dance (see photos), water fights, a variety of garden games, ice cream van, ice cream fights, sparklers, a fireworks display and bouncy castle fun (that was slightly scary at times) all topped off with an absolutely INCREDIBLE sunset. YEAH it was THAT awesome!
I had lots of fun shooting this one. Abbey and Billy’s friends and family are such a good laugh. I was truly honoured to be a part of their special day.
As a side note, I may have had had a little too much fun as I managed to damage three ribs in the process WHOOPS!
Thank you Abby and Billy. I hope we can meet up soon and catch up, It would be good to see you both again especially after your amazing honeymoon in the States!
